Organized in a fashion where the factual and important
information is placed at the very top and as they go along, the information
gets more and more uninspiring. (Used to increase interest into the paper)
Language Use: Word choice/sentence choice/etc.
Using an advanced vocabulary meaning big words for maximum
credulity. (attempts to prove to the reader that this is possibly a true crisis)
Style/Tone
A passive aggressive tone at throughout the entire paper so that
the reader wont feel the opinions are extremely biased.

About the changes in acceptances into colleges and universities
due to unaffordable scholarships and nonnegotiable tuition.
Visual Aspects
Side by side comparison of tuition between different schools as
well as acceptance rates between different universities and college.

in the world? What is the location of this genre generally? Who may see/handle

The key audience is to the student in college and the student
going into college. The government is the organization that ca change something
like this to better the future of some of the students in America.
Try not to use black ink against a black background again--sorry, but it was really hard to read! You are on the right track with your headings and breaking down your rubric into categories. However, you will want to be more specific in some areas. What types of words/sentence structure/etc. relates to language use? How are citations/sourcing set up in the article? Specifically, how will you write your own article based off of this rubric. I do question the notion of "passive aggression" in regards to newspaper articls as well as "advanced" language. However, if you'd cite more specific examples, you could prove me wrong.
